Colt State Park Picnic

RIWA Annual Picnic

Colt State Park,1070 Hope Street, Bristol, RI, Site 32

Saturday, August 2, 11:00 P.M.

Pack a picnic, head to Colt State Park for RIWA's Annual Picnic on
Saturday, August 2 beginning at 11:00 A.M.

Called the hidden gem of NE, the park is beautifully landscaped with miles of lush green grass and a beautiful panoramic view of Narragansett Bay.

The Steering Committee has brainstormed to provide some fun games with
prizes such as Dunkin Donut and ice cream gift cards. The games will be interspersed throughout the afternoon to allow time for eating, socializing and enjoying the spectacular views of the bay.

RIWA's site is number 32, a location near the water, the restrooms and easy access to a path hugging the water's edge.

Leslie, Buddy and Tweedy will lead the game competition.
There will be several Bocce sets on hand along with Frisbees.
If you are a biker, bring your bike so you can more easily take a full view of the
park which encompasses 464 acres. The park is also a great place to take pictures
with its bridges, stone walls and water views.

Colt State Park has a carry in/carry out policy which keeps the park looking very clean.
Making good times happen with RIWA join the Steering Committee in this fun pack yet peaceful and enjoyable annual picnic.
